Silver Pendant

Make your own pendant in sterling silver in the lovely surroundings of Daws Farm near Powick (I will send precise directions a week before).

Learn artisan silversmithing techniques and a little of the history of silver and hallmarking.

After a welcome drink and homemade cake,  we will design your pendant together (some suggestions below but feel free to bring ideas with you) and you’ll have some practice with cutting skills on copper before embarking on the sterling silver itself.  After adding some texturing detail if that’s part of your design, you will file the edges and solder on a bail.  The final polish will bring your pendant up to a lovely shine to wear with pride.

Class size is limited to 6 to ensure you get maximum tutor attention.

Enjoy homemade cake, shortbread and refreshments whilst you work.

At the end of the workshop you’ll not only have some lovely personalised jewellery to take away, but also a huge sense of well being, pride and achievement.
